Plus X Presents: Ben Gateley, CEO, CharlieHR – Getting the best from teams during challenging times
Tuesday 19 May, 1.00pm – 2.00pm
As a business owner, manager or employee, working remotely at home for a long period of time is not something we’ve all encountered before. The new normal is testing our ability to collaborate online in an effective, productive and authentic way. We are using screens for an increased amount of time, adopting new online tools such as mind mapping software and re-aligning our day to day company processes to suit the current climate. Its all having a huge effect on the way we work and how we feel.
Research carried out by not-for-profit healthcare provider Benenden Health, claims that 35 percent of people are thought to be struggling with their mental wellbeing as a result of the pandemic, with concerns about workload, job safety, childcare and general stress levels.
On 19 May we’ll be joined online by Ben Gateley, workplace culture expert, Co-founder & CEO of CharlieHR who will be giving tips and examples for how we as individuals, business owners and work colleagues can work best with each other during challenging times.
Ben has been working with his business partner Rob since they were sixteen and started CharlieHR after having launched and operated Born Social (a social media marketing agency) for five years. Ben is the host of The Culture Ops Podcast – a weekly podcast lifting the lid on the challenging situations that affect workplace culture every day. Ben is a keen ultra runner as part of Team Cactus and helps to run TACKERS an international ski camp for children who’ve had organ transplants.
This online event will take part at 1pm and is part of the Plus X Presents online series which showcases innovative entrepreneurs and finger on the pulse business experts. Please register for the GoToWebinar link using the form below.
